The Department of Geosciences is proud to offer several graduate degrees in the Geosciences. For Fall acceptance, the deadline for graduate program applications is January 15th for full consideration with a Graduate Assistantship, also requiring the Application for Graduate Assistantship form in the application. Applicants must use the Graduate School and International Education's online application to apply to the following programs:
Applicants are encouraged to communicate their career and research interests with Geosciences faculty through email or other means before applying , and more information can be found about active research activities on Geosciences research or individual faculty's research sites. Continuing students should meet with their advisor before April 15th and complete the Annual Graduate Student Academic Review for Doctoral Students or Master’s Students, as appropriate. Course information can be found in the Geosciences (GEOS) section of the Graduate Catalog. The department also provides a list of courses planned which is frequently updated with the latest scheduling details.
