GeoLab
The GeoLab is an interdisciplinary and cross-sector initiative made possible by collaboration and support across the arts, sciences, humanities, and industry. A rock garden to some, the 26 large Arkansan rocks in the GeoLab are used for teaching GEOS courses and labs. Spanning igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock types, the GeoLab provides hands-on opportunities for students and visitors to learn more about nearly 500 million years of Arkansas's past and ongoing importance in the present and future.
