Department of Geosciences Alumni and Friends Weekend has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the interest in the event was not as great as we had anticipated. Our timing relative to the economy was, perhaps, less than ideal. As a consequence, we have cancelled the event this year, but are optimistic that the event will return in the near future. We hope that you will choose to come to another departmental activity, such as the Spring Banquet, which will be Thursday, April 30, 2009 or that you will visit us at any time that is good for you. We’re always looking forward to seeing our alumni and friends. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thank you immensely for the interest and enthusiasm that you showed us.
